A Cure for Lying

Ḥakīm al-Ummat Mawlānā Ashraf ʿĀlī Thānwī said that a very effective remedy for an individual habituated to lying is to, at the instance of lying, immediately state that you have just lied. (Malfuẓāt-e-Kamālāt-e Ashrafiyyah, pg:43)

A Tried and Tested Cure for Anger

Ḥakīm al-Ummat Mawlānā Ashraf ʿĀlī Thānwī said that if you become angry with someone, an effort should be made to present a gift to the individual with whom you were angry.
